One year since establishment of the Eurasian Council on Health, Quality of Life and Ecology
A year ago, on the initiative of the Eurasian Economic Cooperation Organization (EECO), approved and supported by the Chairman of the Presidium of the General Council of the EECO, Igor Rybakov, the project of the Eurasian Council on Health, Quality of Life and Ecology was launched. Representatives from 16 Eurasian countries signed a convention on the establishment of the Council.
The basis for the creation of the Council was the idiom that high-quality active longevity is an indicator of the economic well-being and success of the social policy of any state, and this indicator is directly related to the recovery of the population. The strategy to promote healthy lifestyles today is becoming one of the elements of state policy in many countries of Greater Eurasia.
